É um estudo exploratório. Buscando, no empirismo, as relações entre as mudanças ambientais e as organizações. O trabalho foi elaborado a partir de realização de duas pesquisas: a primeira concentrou-se na identificação das principais mudanças ambientais, ao nível do ambiente geral, na década de 90, e foi realizada através de levantamentos, entrevistas e questionário à pessoas ligadas ao mercado financeiro brasileiro e ao mundo acadêmico, culminando com a determinação de 4 (quatro) grandes e importantes mudanças, que serviram de base para a continuação dos estudos. A segunda pesquisa foi realizada em nível das organizações, teve como amostra diversas organizações bancárias. É uma pesquisa qualitativa que tratou principalmente sobre as ações tomadas por decisões estratégicas, ocasionadas pelas mudanças ambientais, e as consequentes mudanças organizacionais, decorrentes destas decisões estratégicas. Das muitas organizações que existem, o objeto de estudo deste trabalho está concentrado em organizações bancárias brasileiras. Os levantamentos dos dados foram obtidos através dos relatórios de administração e por entrevistas semi-estruturadas nas organizações, realizando a análise de conteúdo para o tratamento dos dados.Abstract: This dissertation work has as goal: explore, identify and verify have great changes in the general environment of the organizations caused impacts, in 90's and what were the actions derived on these organizations, by their decisions at the in strategic level, produced to absorb the impacts generated by these environmental changes and to accomplish an analysis in the changes. Of the many different kind of organizations that exist, the object of this work is concentrated on Brazilian bank organizations. Analysis of economic viability with the use of monte carlo simulation for microgeneration of photovoltaic energy

A series of public policies are being adopted worldwide to seek greater participation of renewable energy sources in the energy matrix. Brazil is a country that has a predominantly renewable energy source, with hydroelectric energy being responsible for the largest portion, but with enormous potential to be exploited for solar energy. The objective of this study was to carry out an analysis of the economic viability of a photovoltaic matrix in the distributed microgeneration model from the residential consumer perspective. Through the Monte Carlo simulation, 10.000 iterations were performed and the NPV was calculated in each of them, then counted to recover the corresponding output probability distribution and verified the NPV probability to be greater than zero. The developed method has proved to be a reliable tool to support decision making and can be applied to several scenarios. The scenario adopted for the design of the photovoltaic system presented a 95.2% probability of returning with an NPV above zero and this makes it economically feasible. The main contribution of this paper is the replicability of the methodology used for other economic analysis studies

Analytical hierarchy process - bocr applied for the best lean project selection for production lines

The scenario of global competitiveness demands more and more of the organizations the search for continuous improvement. For survival, in the face of adverse market conditions, modern production management strategies are essential to make production processes increasingly efficient, lean and sustainable, minimizing losses in their production systems. In this sense, when thinking about changes in production lines, in search of improvements in their process, criteria that provide Benefits, Opportunities, Costs and Risks (BOCR) should be considered. In this way, managers and executives should rely on tools and methods that allow them to guide their decisions in a clear way. The objective of this work is to apply a method of Decision Making with Multiple Criteria to the alternatives of investment projects in production lines in Lean Manufacturing concept. As a general result, it was possible to observe the applicability of the AHP BOCR method for the decision-making case involving several criteria and subcriteria for choosing the Lean investment project in the steel environment, the preferred alternative being the discontinuity of the production line 1 and the absorption of their respective production volume by production lines 2 and 3 through investments in them

A ordenação inicial, proposta pela revista Você/SA Exame, utiliza como método classificador o índice de felicidade no trabalho, uma soma ponderada de índices resultantes da percepção dos funcionários, das práticas da empresa e da constatação feita por jornalistas em visitas às empresas.Este trabalho, que utiliza o método TODIM, considera esses itens como critérios de avaliação e realiza uma análise comparativa das alternativas. Ao final, é executada uma comparação entre as ordenações e uma análise de sensibilidade, analisando as especificidades de cada método de ordenação e a consistência de seus resultados

Pi3k Inhibition Synergizes With Glucocorticoids But Antagonizes With Methotrexate In T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

The PI3K pathway is frequently hyperactivated in primary T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) cells. Activation of the PI3K pathway has been suggested as one mechanism of glucocorticoid resistance in T-ALL, and patients harboring mutations in the PI3K negative regulator PTEN may be at increased risk of induction failure and relapse. By gene expression microarray analysis of T-ALL cells treated with the PI3K inhibitor AS605240, we identified Myc as a prominent downstream target of the PI3K pathway. A significant association was found between the AS605240 gene expression signature and that of glucocorticoid resistance and relapse in T-ALL. AS605240 showed anti-leukemic activity and strong synergism with glucocorticoids both in vitro and in a NOD/SCID xenograft model of T-ALL. In contrast, PI3K inhibition showed antagonism with methotrexate and daunorubicin, drugs that preferentially target dividing cells. This antagonistic interaction, however, could be circumvented by the use of correct drug scheduling schemes. Our data indicate the potential benefits and difficulties for the incorporation of PI3K inhibitors in T-ALL therapy.613105-1311

This study aims to analyze the economic and financial viability of an investment project aiming at building a new solution to provide oil to car’s engine production line. The study arises from de need of integrate a second type of oil to fill engines produced to exportation market. The objectives are essential for the company to remain in the market facing the limited resources and the strong competition. Thus, a case of study done, with typical view to data collect and analysis. The results indicate the use of feasibility technique, as NPV, IRR, Payback, LI and NUV are decisive for a good financial analysis. Adding to these techniques, a Monte Carlo method used to simulate a variable production condition
